Description:
The Allen-Bradley 1761-NET-ENI is a versatile EtherNet/IP communication interface module from Allen‑Bradley, designed to connect legacy PLCs and controllers to modern Ethernet networks. It provides reliable industrial networking for systems like MicroLogix, SLC-500, and CompactLogix, enabling program upload/download, real-time communication, and industrial data exchange over standard Ethernet infrastructure.
This interface adds 100Base-T (10/100 Mbps) Ethernet connectivity via a standard RJ45 port with embedded link/traffic LEDs, as well as an RS-232 port for serial DF1 full-duplex communication to the controller. Powered by 24 V DC, the module supports auto-negotiation of Ethernet speeds and duplex modes and can be configured over Ethernet with built-in security provisions.
